Karen Diop has access to a large and crumbling commemorative book put out to celebrate the opening of the Hartford (later Bulkely) Bridge in 1908. This book has short biographies on 300 Connecticut men who served on various committees. She is willing to do look-ups in the book, hopefully in exchange for help in getting it transcribed so that the information can be available on the CT GenWeb site. This kind of chatty little contemporary profile can provide a lot of information.

Karen's thought was that perhaps she could ask people who find an ancestor they were looking for, to type up the information in exchange for getting a photocopy of the biography. A list of the individuals profiled and their birth or occupation can be found below. Please check this list before contacting Karen about an ancestor.
