Interested in information on Reuben and Hannah Adams and son Jonathan Marritt(or Merritt) Adams born in Granby 1/17/1782. Hannah was Reuben's 2nd wife. By 1790 family was on census list in Westfield, Mass. from there to Wayne Co. NY by late 1790's. Any help appreciated re marriage to Hannah, Hannah's death, siblings of Jonathan, etc. Family has been trying to trace them for YEARS! Finally found a reference to J.M. Adams being born in Granby. Had been looking elsewhere.

Moved to Somonack, Decalb Co., Ill. enlisted in Union Infranty and killed in battle of Franklin, Tenn. Would be interesed in any information. I feel his father was Samuel but can't find proof.

Looking for grandfather and father. Both resided in the Granby, Ct area during 30's thru 50's. My grandfather was born 4/3/1885 at Morris, NY and was William Peterson. Married Flora Button, who was from Ostego, NY, she was born 1879 and died in 1949. They both lived in Granby area. My father was William Lawrence Donovan. He changed his surname from Peterson to Donovan. An uncle, Russell Peterson also was from the area. They resided on HWY 20. Any help would be appreciated.`

Looking for relatives who used to reside in Granby area during the 1940's and 1950's. My grandfather's name William Donovan. He resided on Hwy 20 during the above periods. My father William Lawrence Donovan, also resided there for a time. My grandfather may have used the surname of Peterson. There was also an uncle named Russell Peterson. My father was in WW1. My grandmother's maiden name was Flora E. Buttena. Any help would be appreciated. My grandfather probably died in 1951. My father was married in 1934 in Lowell, Mass. We made trips to my grandfather's home in the late 1940's.
