SHERMAN, Bezzeliell, late of Stratford, inventory taken Nov. 16, 1717, by Benjamin Sherman and Samuel Peat, mentioned his children Edmon, ae. 6 yrs; Ebenezer, ae. 4 yrs' Bezzeliell, ae. 6 weeks; and Susannah, ae. 9 yrs, and filed Dec. 20, 1717, page 30. Feb. 25, 1718/9, account filed, by his widow Jane Sherman, administratrix, and estate ordered distributed by Benjamin Sherman and Lieut Samuel Pent to his widow and children aforesaid, page 30. Jan. 25, 1719/20, the court appointed his mother, Jane Sherman to be guardian of Edmon, a son of decedent, page 64a.

Nov. 23, 1720, the court appointed Andrew Patterson to be guardian of Ebenezer, a son of decedent, page 64. July 10, 1721, Jane Sherman, widow of decedent, and guardian of her son Edmon, bond canceled and guardian discharged and Daniel Brinsmel appointed in her place, page 122.

June 24, 1721, Susannah Sherman, a daughter of decedent, made choice of Andrew Patterson to be her guardian, page 123.
