PON, Nathaniel, late of Stamford, Aug. 21, 1716, letters of administration on his estate granted to Jonathan Slawson and Samuel Blachley of Stamford, page 51. Inventory taken by John Slauson and Jonathan Bates, and filed Jan. 28, 1718/7, page 51. Feb. 20, 1716/7, Josiah, a son of decedent, made choice of his grandfather, Samuel Pon of Gilford, to be his guardian: the court appointed said Samuel Pon guardian of Naomie and Thankful, other children of decedent: and on Aug. 23, 1716, the court appointed Ebeneazer Weed guardian of Nathaniel, another son of decedent, page 51a. Oct 27, 1718, said Samuel Pon of Gilford, now deceased, and Captain Abraham Fowler of Gilford appointed guardian of Thankful Pon, page 51a. May 11, 1721, Naomy and Thankful children of deceased made choice of their uncle Joseph Lee of Gilford to be their guardian, page 120.


POTTER, John, late of Stamford, commander of the Brigatine Royal Stephen, now at another New York Harbor, will dated Apl. 15, 1705, probated Sept. 9, 1709, all property at Stamford to his daughter Sarah Potter, if she attains the age of 21 yrs, or marries, if not then to his brothers Indigo Potter and Robert Potter. Executrix his mother in law Sarah Bellick, widow of Captain John Sellick of Stamford. Overseers John Davenport and David Waterbury of Stamford, page 75. Inventory Taken Sept. 5, 1709, by Jonathan Sellick and Nathan Sellick, and filed Sept. 5, 1709, page 75a.


PRINGLE, Samuel, late of Stratford, will dated May 18, 1718, probated June 30, 1718, mentioned his wife Abigail, provided for unborn child, and brother Ebeneazer Pringle of Wallingford. Executor Edmon Lewis. Witnesses James Laboris, Jr., and Nathan Beardsley, Page 28
