DARLING, John, Sr., late of Fairfield, Feb. 11, 1718/9, letters of administration on his estate granted to his son John Darling, page 25. Feb. 16, 1718/9, inventory taken by Peter Bulkley and Joseph Bears, and filed Feb. 20, 1718/9, page 25. Apl. 16, 1718/9, account filed, and estate ordered distributed by Ensign John Andruss and Joseph Bears to his children John, James, Joseph, Benjamin, Hannah, and Martha, page 25. Feb. 20, 1718/9, Joseph and Benjamin sons of decedent, made choice of their brother in law John Bradley to be their guardian, page 26.


DEFREES, David, late of Stratford, June 13, 1721, letters of administration on his estate granted to his widow Martha Defrees, page 112. Inventory taken June 10, 1721, by John Moss and John Leavensworth, and filed May 1, 1724, by his widow, now Martha Thompson, administratrix, page 165. May 1, 1724, account filed, and estate ordered distributed by Ensign Edmon Lewis and Deacon John Robert Walker to his widow Martha Thompson and children Mary Hawley, Sara Lewis, Martha Defrees, David, Samuel, Isaac, Edward, Henry, Elizabeth and Benjamin, page 165. May 1, 1784, Samuel, Isaac, and Edward, made choice of their mother to be their guardian, and the court appointed her guardian, of the rest of her minor children, and John Thompson went on the bond, page 166. Apl. 10, 1725, estate distributed to his widow now Martha Thompson, and children David, Samuel, Isaac, Edward, henry, Benjamin, Martha, and Elizabeth Defrees, page 185.


DEMILL, Peter, Captain, late of Stamford, died Sept. 1, 1722, and on Feb. 15, 1722/3, letters of administration on (continued on page 252).
