BENEDICK, Samuel, late of Danbury, will dated in 1718, probated Mch. 20, 1719, mentioned his wife Rebeckah, and Children Rebeckah, Esther, Samuel, Nathaniel, and Abraham, and grandson Samuel, a son of his son Thomas, now deceased. Executors sons Samuel and Nathaniel. Witnesses James Bebe and Isreal Curtiss, page 84. Jan. 3, 1714/5, the court appointed Elizabeth Benedick, widow of decedent, guardian of Hannah and Rebeckah; Ensign Thomas Taylor guardian of Elizabeth: and Ebeneazer Hickcox guardian of Samuel, children of decedent, page 58a.


BENNIT, Daniel, late of Stratford, distribution agreement dated Nov. 25, 1715, between his brother and sisters viz: Nathan Bennit, Sarah wife of Robert Wheeler, Mary wife of Samuel David, Elizabeth wife of Ephraim Rice of Newark, East Jersey, Mary Bennit, and Hannah Bennit, and filed Apl. 4, 1719.
