CURTISS, Sarah, late of Stratford, new wife of Captain William Curtiss, will dated Oct. 21, 1697, probated Jan. 17, 1702, recited that testatrix according to the marriage contract has the power and authority to dispose of the estate left of her former husband as she pleased, mentioned her children John Goodrich, William Goodrich, David Goodrich, Ephraim Goodrich, Sarah Hollister, and Mary Butler, son in law Robert Wells, and grandchildren Abigail Fitch, Sarah Hollister, Sarah Goodrich, and Prudence Wells, No executor. CURTISS, William, Captain, late of Stratford, will dated Dec. 15, 1702, probated Dec. 31, 1702, all children married and given portions, mentioned his children Daniel, Ebeneazer, Zachariah, Josiah, who was devised land next to Samuel French, Sarah Wells, Elizabeth rose, and Joshua, legacy to Jonathan a son of Jonathan Curtiss.
