CHAUNCEY, Charles, Rev., late of Stratfield, will dated Dec. 24, 1714, probated July 6, 1715, mentioned his wife Elizabeth, who is to receive an amenity from the income of his estate at Lambeth, near the City of Bristol, Eng., which descended to me from my father, Israell Chauncy, sometime of Stratford, Conn, deceased, children Isreaell, who was devised the estate at Lambeth, and part of the farm given unto my grandfather, Charles Chauncey, in the Province of Massachusetts Bay, near the Marrimack River; John, who was devised the property in Stratford I purchased from my brother Robert Chauncey of City of Bristol, Eng., Robert Ichabad Wooleet, and daughter Abiah Chauncey.
