HUGHES, Nicholas, late of Stratford, will dated Apl. 18, 1690, probated Nov. 1, 1692, mentioned his wife Abegaile, legacy to his son in law William Curtiss, he paying to his brother Jonathan Curtis when 21 yrs of age. Executrix his wife Abegaile Hughes. Overseers William Curtiss and Ambrose Tomson, witnesses John McChoprie and Jonathan Pitman, page 75.

Inventory taken Nov. 1692, by Ambrose Tomson, Ebeneazer Booth, and Samuel Galpin, and filed Nov. 1, 1692, page 75.

Nov. 1, 1692, Samuel Huges, a brother of deceased, released the estate from any claims. Witnesses John Beardsley and Jacob Walker, page 76.

HULL, Cornelius, Sr., Lieut, late of Fairfield, will dated Sept. 16, 1695, probated Oct. 7, 1695, mentioned his son Samuel, who was devised land on the west side of Saco River, and also part of the Long Lot on both sides of the Aspetuck River; son Theophilus; son Cornelius, who was devised land next adjoining Benjamin Banks in Sacofield daughters Rebecka Hull, Sarah wife of Robert Silliman, Martha wife of Cornelius Traton, and grandson George Hull, a son of Cornelius Hull. Executors his son Samuel, Cornelius, and Theophilus. Witnesses Rev. Joseph Web and Eliphalet Hill, page 126.

HURD, John, late of Woodbury, Dec. 20, 1690, agreement dated, between his widow Anna Hurd, and Children Joseph, Benjamin, Ebeneazer, and Sarah; Joseph to have his father's Mill. Witnesses John Levensworth and William Markes, page 148.

HURLBUT, Thomas, late of ______, Nov. 2, 1697, letters of administration on his estate granted to Samuel Couch, page 176.
