TOMSON, John, Sr., late of Stratford, will dated July 17, 1675, probated in 1678, mentioned his wife Marrable, daughter Hurd, daughter Mary ( wife of Mathew Mitchell) and legacy to Samuel Galpin. Executors his wife and sons John and Ambrose. Overseers Samuel Sherman Sr., and Deacon Timothy Wilcookson. Witnesses Josiah Walker and Isreal Chancy, page 22 , 37. Inventory taken Aug. 16, 1678, by William Curtis, Timothy Wilcookson, John Beardsey, and Isreal Preston of Stratford, and Filed Aug. 16, 1678, page 38. Mch 19, 1676, the widow Marrable and sons John and Ambrose, made settlement with Mary wife of Mathew Mitchell, and with their son Mathew Mitchell. Witnesses John Burr and Zachary Walker, page 325. Sons John and Ambrose, son in law Jonathan Curtiss.
