PEAT, John, late of Fairfield, Will dated Jan. 17, 1677/8, probated in 1677/8, mentioned his wife Sarah, who married before 1687, John Peacoke, and children Samuel who received a legacy from his grandfather, John, Joseph, Sarah, Hannah, Elizabeth, and Jane. Executrix his wife. Overseers Captain William Curtiss, Israel Chancy, William Roberts, and his brother Benjamin Peat and cousin John Osborn. Witnesses Timothy Wilcockson and William Roberts, page 25. Inventory taken Feb. 20, 1677/8, by John Birdsey and Samuel Baldwin, and filed in 1677/8, page 25. PERRY, Nathaniel, late of Fairfield, will dated Jan. 1, 1681, probated Feb. 8, 1681, mentioned his wife Hester, and children Joseph, Hester, and Mary, and in case all my children die, the estate is devised to Daniel Burr, the son of Jehu Burr, and John Burr, the son of Jehu Burr. Witnesses Josiah Harvy and Thomas Crouch. The will was proved by Simon Couch, ae. about 48 yrs, John burr ae, about 48, and Samuel Wakeman, ae. about 47 yrs, page 72. Inventory taken Jan. 5, 1681, by Jehu Burr and Ebson Wakeman, and filed Feb. 23, 1681, page 73. PERRIT, John, late of Stamford, Jan. 31, 1676, letters of administration on his estates granted to his widow Sarah Pettit, page 94. Inventory taken Apl. 5, 1676, by Richard Law and Lieut. Francis Bell, mentioned the widow's part of her brother Joseph's estate page 39. Jan. 31, 1676, estate ordered distributed to his widow Sarah, and children two sons and three daughters Viz: John, a son, Sarah, Mercy and Bethia, page 94.
