MEKER, Robert, late of Fairfield, will dated Nov. 12, 1683, probated Mch. 10, 1684/5, mentioned his wife Susanna, and children, John, Daniel, Mary (wife of Samuel) Adams, and son in law Samuel Adams. Executor his son John. Witnesses Nathan gold and Josiah Harvey, page 157.
Inventory taken Nov. 25, 1684, by Thomas Staples, Sr., John Groman, Sr., and Josiah Harvey, and filed Mch. 10, 1684/5, page 156.

MIDDLEBROOK, Joseph, Sr., late of Fairfield, Nov. 24, 1686, John Sturges, Sr, ae. about 62 yrs, being duly sworn testified yt I coming into my sonn Joseph house the last Lecture Day in Fairfield after lecture, I met with Joseph Middlebrook, Sr., now deceased, there I satt down with him. He seemed to be very well and cherful, and was glad of those things Joseph brought him, he setting down between my daughter and I, he began to tell me he should not live long, and after his death he feared Samuel Wilson, would ronge his son by reason of riting he had signed and given S-amuel Wilson, and further said yt Samuel Wilson should have no more of his estate, but what he gett by that deed of gift he had made his estate, but what he gett by that deed of gifts he had made him, and he said it was his mind and will yt his son should have all his estate at his death. He had more words about it, but this was substance of what he said. This saying of his was but a few hours before he fel downe in the street going home, as I was informed,

MILLS, Samuel, late of Southampton, L. I., 1686, his will was probated there and a copy sent to Stratford by the clerk of the court at Southampton. the court ordered Samuel Sherman to deliver up the estate at (continued page 57).
