GROWE, Philip, late ??? elder of the church at Stratford, will dated Feb. 30, 1672/3, probated Feb. 6, 1675/6, mentioned his wife Ann, and grandchildren, Nathaniel Porter, Sarah Porter, Hannah Porter, and Ruth Porter, Nathaniel Porter a son in law to his sister Susanna Grant, Widow near Bristol, England, brother John Growe, servante Rebecca Andrews and Nathaniel Homerston. Overseeers Isreal chancy, Captain William curtis and Joseph Hawley. Witnesses John Brinsmaid and Henry Tomlinson Pages 1 and 15. Inventory taken Feb. 14, 1675/6, by William Curtiss and John Pickett, Henry Wakeling and John Wells and filed Feb. 14, 1675/6, page 2. HALE(Hall), Thomas, late of Norwalk, inventory taken Feb. 19, 1678, By Thomas Fitch Sr., Marke Sention, and Thomas Fitch, Jr., and in addition to the inventory the appraisers found by testimony an estate belonging to the deceased in the custody of the widow at Charlestown, page 88. HALL, Francis, of Fairfield, Mch, 4, 1664, having sold the house and land in England, which was a jointer conferred upon his wife, Elizabeth, at the time of their marriage, made good the same by giving her his house and lands at Fairfield. Witnesses Samuel Hall and Mary Hall, page 311.
